With breathtaking landscapes and a rich collection of amazing wildlife, Kenya is a country full of life.
This life however, is constantly threatened by water scarcity. Growing demands from population growth, water management issues and climate change impacts means that people living in rural areas and urban peripheries are in water crisis. Around 23 million people living in Kenya lack access to safe water, and 41 million lack access to handwashing facilities in their homes.
We are in a pilot phase of working in Kenya, learning from the amazing communities we are meeting and discovering the best ways to share our knowledge to help relieve the water crisis.
