Frank Water’s Annual Impact Report 2021-2022

We’re delighted to share our latest Impact Report, highlighting the difference we’ve made together, with your support, between October 2021 and September 2022.

Last year, Frank Water made significant strides towards our vision – a future where everyone, everywhere has access to resilient water resources for generations to come.  We worked with health centres, and regenerated springs, built climate change resilience through awareness raising and using Integrated Water Resources Management, and developed new partnerships across the globe.

We’ve widened our scale and scope, by launching our ground-breaking ‘Beyond the Boundary’ programme in Bangalore, to increase access to safe and sustainable water in watersheds connected with global corporate supply chains in central India.

Our award-winning WASH Connect app is now being used in a pilot project in Kenya to create water security plans to ensure sustainable water usage in sub-Saharan Africa.  This follows five years of learning, experience, and relationships built in India, and applying it to the context of water security in a new region, helping thousands of people living in water poverty.

Already a good way into the next 12 months, we are excited to be continuing our ‘Beyond the Boundary’ project by establishing a Centre for Corporate Watershed Stewardship, and a framework to support impactful watershed-level improvements aligned with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals by expanding our approach to a site near Chennai. We’ll be starting two partnerships in new areas of India and Nepal, whilst developing ongoing work and expanding our impact in Kenya. 

Through our social enterprise, we’re continuing to build on our partnerships with suppliers to provide sustainable Frank Water hydration solutions for more establishments and events across the UK, whilst also generating funds for our charitable programmes. We look forward to sharing stories of our impact as the year progresses.
