Clean water does more than quench your thirst. A safe, reliable water supply is a chance to improve livelihoods for people who have been left behind by progress. By using the principles of integrated water resource management, we can equip communities to manage their own water sources and make good use of surplus water, or water that isn’t drinkable. Market gardening is one example of this. With enough water, families can grow their own crops – including fruit, vegetables, herbs, and spices, which not only benefit their own health but also generate an income to provide for their families.
Just £12 could pay for a market garden and support a family to earn a living.
Are you a UK Taxpayer? Boost your purchase by 25p of Gift Aid for every £1 you spend on virtual gifts, at no extra cost to you.
The tax payer and gift aid declaration is valid for the current tax year (6 April to 5 April), the previous four tax years and all future tax years. I understand that if I pay less income/capital gains tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in the tax year in which they are received, it is my responsibility to pay any difference and that I must notify the charity of any changes to my tax status, including changes to my name or address.
