Prepare for a splashing good time as Frank Water’s annual stand-up paddleboarding challenge returns to Bristol Harbour on 4 July Bristol. It’s not just any fundraising event – it’s a chance to bond with your friends, family, or colleagues while supporting Frank Water’s mission to alleviate global water poverty.
SUP Bristol will host the competition on the beautiful historic harbourside from 1 – 6.30 pm. It’s a fantastic opportunity to spend quality time with colleagues and friends, and have a lot of fun while raising vital funds for the most vulnerable communities who lack access to clean, safe water.
This inclusive event is open to anyone over 18 years old and Frank Water is inviting teams of four to register, who will compete in challenges ranging from 4-a-side SUP ball, filling up a bucket with water, and the classic sprint relay race, all vying for the coveted SUFSW Shield.
The top three teams will win some brilliant prizes kindly donated to Frank Water including, Planet Earth III Live Show tickets, a Bird and Blend Tea Mixology Workshop, a £100 Turtle Bay voucher, and a £75 Boston Tea Party voucher.
Lizzie Archer, Corporate Partnerships Manager, Frank Water said: “This is our fifth paddleboarding fundraiser, and it’s amazing to see so many people come together to support our charity and recognise how crucial our mission is. In the UK we have easy access to safe and clean water, but joining our event will help us to reach even more people that don’t”.
Tim Trew, SUP Bristol Co-Founder said: “We take it for granted that we can turn on the tap and clean water comes out. It’s outrageous that one in ten still don’t have clean drinking water and we’re delighted to support Frank Water to help change this while showcasing the best of Bristol to their supporters.”
It costs £200 to register a team and a further £200 to fundraise. Secure your place today.
